This is a view of Redwing, Minnesota from Bay Point Park. I thought the paintings from the plein air event were very gray and I wanted to try make a more colorful painting in watercolor. As it turns out, it was a pretty gray day.

This is a beautiful view of Lakefront Park in Hudson, Wisconsin in the fall. It was painted with natural earth pigment paints made by the artist from rocks gathered near the shore of the St. Croix River in Hudson.

This old wooden sail boat was moored in front of the Camachee Harbor Inn in St. Augustine, Florida where I stayed during an EnTrain Air painting trip. Perhaps it was waiting to be restored at the nearby shipyard. I liked the boat so much I had to paint it a second time, after returning home.
