Critics of linear perspective may think my drawing is off. Don't blame the drawing - it is the photo that is off. Several images were combined to create to final image used for the painting. I liked the Cathedral in one image, and the restaurant facade in several other images.  The foreground was expanded to fill some blank space. I was so pleased with my compositing skills that I did not notice the perspective imperfections. I did notice them as I painted the picture though, and negotiated the lines as much as I could. The rest I will have to live with.
 
As an artist I have been focusing on changing color without changing value, and using color value more - combined with simple color tints to change value. My unity before variety is a work in progress.
