Urban Landscape of the Stone Arch Bridge from Mill City Ruin Park in Summer
The Stone Arch Bridge was built in 1883 by James J. Hill’s Great Northern Railroad. At its peak it brought 80 passenger trains a day into Union Station.
Mill Ruins Park is in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, on the west side of Saint Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River. It is an archaeological site in the Saint Anthony Falls Historic District that preserves flour milling artifacts that used hydropower from Saint Anthony Falls. The Gold Medal Flour and the Pillsbury's Best Flour signs are both visible from the park.
