This was my first outdoor nocturne. I felt very lucky when a train came by on my second night out, and stayed for several hours while I painted it.

This was my first outdoor painting for 2015. It is a view of Saint Paul, Minnesota from Raspberry Island.

Raspberry Island train bridge at dawn, it is down ready to let trains cross the river. Another train is heading up river, under the Robert Street bridge.

I love the train bridge. What a workhorse it is. Up and down it goes many times a day. Up to let the barges get pushed through, down to let the trains cross the river
